Mobile Communications Sales Business Development Manager

Location: West London covering London, Southern Counties and M4 Corridor.
Salary: Competitive, OTE £100K
Type: Full time
The role: We’re looking to expand our mobile communications focused sales team with experienced business development managers. The team sell B2B mobile, mobile data, connectivity, Microsoft 365 and a number of traditional and hosted telephony systems.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Sourcing, researching and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Understanding potential clients’ business communications requirements
  • Being able to manage and create a sales pipeline
  • Developing and following up on existing leads
  • Writing proposals and preparing quotations
  • Leading presentations and demonstrations to clients
  • Meeting sales targets through effective planning and budgeting
  • Qualify opportunities
  • Accurate forecasting
  • Providing support, information and guidance to clients
  • Researching and understanding market developments and technology trends
  • Attend events/exhibitions as required and actively participate in industry events
  • Selling our portfolio of products into new customers — this is a new business role only, we currently have an existing inside sales team
  • We will supply the successful candidate with qualified sales leads, however it is essential you are able to also make your own appointments
  • The role requires working in a specific UK region and candidates must be prepared to travel if required
  • The successful candidate will be expected to sit an agreed number of customer-facing appointments per week
  • Already have a pipeline of prospects and existing clients that will ensure you hit the ground running

 

 

Essential experience required

  • Experience in telecoms and/or IT
  • Proven sales experience and a track record within the telecoms industry is essential
  • Able to provide high level of support in the event of customer support problems
  • A knowledge of mobile, phone systems including hosted VoIP
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and target-driven
  • Experience in and knowledge of WLR and leased lines

 

 

The ideal candidate

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to further enhance their career
  • Ideally suited to a self-sufficient, passionate, innovative high achiever. This is a key sales role within the business
  • Knowledge of mobile, WLR and calls, leased lines, telecoms systems and VoIP is an advantage
  • Only those candidates with direct sales experience will be considered for this role
  • Minimum level of education: degree or A Level standard

 

 

Working conditions

  • Field-based with some office working and extensive territory wide travel

Legal requirements

  • UK citizenship and work permit
  • Clean driving licence

Telemarketing/appointment setting

Location: West London
Salary: Competitive, OTE £35K

Duties and responsibilities

The role involves booking sales appointments for our Sales Consultants. As part of the process, you will be targeting decision makers and the senior executives of corporate clients and will need a very professional phone manner, able to record all information in our CRM system, whilst developing a relationship with prospects on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a successful telemarketing executive, with at least two years’ experience in the telephony sector, either fixed line or mobiles. Candidates will be used to working in a target-driven environment, with cold-calling experience in the B2B marketplace an essential prerequisite.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced telemarketer to work with a successful sales team, in a growing industry, with some great products and services. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate in-depth experience in telecanvassing, appointment setting and cold calling in a B2B environment.

Telecoms provisioning/telecoms support

Location: West London

Duties and responsibilities

The role involves provisioning telecoms and IT support for London and the South East where many of our clients are situated. We are looking for a strong back-office telecoms professional to join our operations team. You will be required to record all information in our CRM system, whilst developing a relationship with our customers.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a strong, motivated and independent individual to work in our fast-paced telecommunications customer services and operations team, to provide a friendly and efficient service to all of our clients.

We are specifically looking for someone with experience in telecoms, in the following areas:

  • Mobile phone set up and support
  • Customer support in the mobile industry
  • Microsoft Office 365 provisioning and support
  • Basic IT desktop support

 

In addition, you may also have experience in:

  • Landline network provisioning
  • WLR3 provisioning experience
  • Broadband provisioning
  • Phone system customer support
  • Use of Wholesale BT support systems in any capacity
  • Billing run experience is a bonus
